Actors Theatre of Indiana presented its annual fundraiser November 22, 2008 for an evening filled with music, laughter, and celebrities as we traveled back to the days when radio ruled the airways. Enjoy "COMMAND PERFORMANCE U.S.A.", the live radio broadcast show that brought much needed relief to our men and womenin uniform during WWII. Rub shoulders and hear the songs and comedy of such greats as the Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra,RedSkelton, Martha Raye, Dinah Shore, and more! Experience the nostalgia that shaped one of the greatest generations in American history while helping to support Carmel City Center's future resident professional theatre company -ACTORS THEATRE OF INDIANA! Feel free to come dressed in your Hollywood glam or military garb of the 1940's and listen to the sounds of Hoagy Carmichael with Kay Kyser and his band as we swing the night away. Don't be surprised if a special guest pops in for the Live Auction with violin in tow! THE SCHEDULE:

The historic Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel will create an entertaining backdrop for the gala benefitingActors Theatre of Indiana and will feature great songs of the 1940’s, delicious cuisine, a silent and live auction, and festive interactive games. The evening also will include a silent and live auction featuring such items as jewelry, Pacers tickets, a trip to New York City with Broadway shows, golf outings, a Florida vacation, iPods and other amazing electronics, host an hour of classical radio programming of your choosing on WICR 88.7 FM, rare autographed artwork, rare autographed memorabilia, and much, much more!!!
